Updates

Dear Students and Parents,

As you may have heard, Illinois Governor Pritzker has closed schools for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.  With that being said, many tasks that typically happen at the end of the school year will look very different from how they were traditionally completed in previous years.  We ask for your patience as we move forward.

Remote Learning:  We will continue with our remote learning plan for our students. If you have issues with your chromebook, you can still email us and we will try to quickly resolve the issue.  I encourage you to stay in contact with your teachers.  Please do your best to stay involved with the remote learning plan.

SEL Program:  Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is part of the educational experience we provide in our schools.  This is why you have been receiving information regarding SEL competencies for student development.  This week’s competency is Self Management.

We are waiting on guidance regarding the following activities:

  • Yearbook Distribution:  This will most likely be a curbside pickup, dates and times to be determined.

  • Chromebook Collection:  Guidance on the process for collection, dates and times will be forthcoming.

Finally, thank you for your efforts during this time.  We are lucky to have such dedicated families.  We appreciate you!

Sincerely,

Jennifer Graves
