The Advanced Placement (AP) Program, sponsored by the College Board offers secondary school students the opportunity to participate in challenged college-level coursework while still in high school.
Recently, Galesburg High School administered the AP examinations in various subject areas. The average exam consists of multiple-choice and a free-response section. Most exams are three hours long and cover two semesters of college-level work; those that test one semester of work are generally two hours long. Students who score well, generally a score of 3 or above, may be eligible for college credit.
Congratulations to all the students who participated in the AP exams!
